About us

Durham Drives is a collaborative organization run by and for the residents of Durham County, North Carolina. Created by Hannah McKnight in the Fall of 2020, Durham Drives has grown through a simple shared belief that voting should be easy.

Over 650 Durham residents have volunteered to provide over 2,500 rides to the polls in the Bull City. Durham Drives operates in proud collaboration with Bull City Votes and Bull City United, combining 'Get Out the Vote' philosophies of deep canvassing with logistic simplicity.
